Who We Are

Owner's Introduction

As the president/director and owner of Live Well Home Care, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Melissa Guthmiller, and I am beyond excited to use my years of experience to do what I do best, care for people. I have over 20 years of experience as a caregiver for the elderly and disabled.

Live Well Home Care LLC was locally formed in 2015 and is locally owned. We are a growing business aiming to contribute to the needs of the elderly and disabled population in our community. Whether it’s a little help you need or more, we get it and are here to help!

We are thrilled and look forward to a bright future in serving the community by helping people stay in their homes and thrive!

Business Inspiration

When people ask me why I do what I do, the answer is simple for me. Helping people in need is my true passion, no matter what stage of life they are in.

My grandmother's and my sister in law are a significant reason I started Live Well Home Care in 2015.

In 2014 my grandmother was suffering from cancer, and although we were able to respect her wishes and keep her home until the end, as we sat by her side, I couldn’t help but think of how great it would be if we had some extra help as her disease progressed.

My other grandmother is 87 and is just as busy as a 60-year-old. I hope that with this business on my side, I will never have to take her out of her home where she feels most safe and comfortable.

My sister in law has cerebral palsy and can not do most things on her own, but because of Live Well, she can live independently.
